Don't neglect the spare tire!
Imagine your tire going flat in the middle of a snow storm, you open your trunk and find your spare tire is flat. Make sure you check your spare tire regularly with a tire gauge to insure it is properly inflated. A good habit would be to check all of your tires, incuding the spare's air pressure once a month.
